Results confirm reductions in cost and water using hydrated lime substitute

Canadian miner Avalon Rare Metals Inc. has successfully tested two rare earth recovery pilot technologies for possible cost reductions and decreased water demand.

The technologies have been designed for use at the company’s flotation and hydrometallurgical plants planned for its Thor Lake Nechalacho project, in the Northwest Territories of Canada....
