Flake exports rise 13.6% since 2009; IM Data expects 2012 to top 4,000 tonnes

Madagascar’s exports of flake graphite have continued their four-year consecutive rise as the country’s sole producer, Etablissements Gallois, experiences increasing demand from international markets.

Since 2009, exports have risen by a total of 13.6% to 3,853 tonnes in 2011 and is expected to reach 4,100 tonnes...
