Chinese rare earths prices hold as exports rise in October

Baotou publishes inflated bid prices in effort to engineer period of stability

Latest figures for exports of rare earths from China have shown shipment volumes increased 12.4% from September to 3,809 tonnes, according to the China Customs Statistics Information Centre.
