Iofina yields strong first recoveries despite supply glitches

Company on track with ambitious commissioning programme, CEO says

US-based iodine and derivatives producer Iofina Plchas unveiled promising results from its first iodine recovery plant despite receiving only limited supplies of brine, the company said today.

Iofina uses proprietary WET IOsorb technology to extract iodine from saltwater brine, a by-product of shale oil extraction.
