Canadian rig count strength continues to balance US decline

Latin America oil and gas exploration falls while Middle East picks up after Q3 lull

As winter sets in throughout the Northern hemisphere, a 19 rig Canadian uptick month-on-month ( m-o-m) again helped to balance out a 25 rig slide in a struggling US rig count, according to data from oilfield services company Baker Hughes.
