Antimony prices slip as traders clear stocks for New Year

Demand could resume as Chinese economy returns to growth

Prices for metalloid antimony slipped by more than 3% this week as traders liquidated stock in Rotterdam, Netherlands, in the run-up to the year-end, Metal Bulletin (MB) has reported.

MB’s low-bismuth antimony prices stood at $11,700-$12,000/tonne yesterday, down $400 on the prices assessed last month....
