Uralkali production drops 9% for first nine months of 2012

Company confident in long-term outlook; continues 20m tpa expansion

Uralkali production fell 9% to 7.4m tonnes of potassium chloride (KCl) during the first nine months in 2012, down from 8.1m tonnes in 2011, due to continuing buyer caution across the global potash market.
