Dalian Mayerton Refractories Co Ltd acquisition will be completed in Q3 2013

Brazilian magnesite, graphite, dolomite, talc, and refractories manufacturer Magnesita Refratarios SA has acquired a refractory products plant in China, Dalian Mayerton Refractories Co. Ltd. (DMR) for $22m.

The plant, which is located in Liaoning Province and owned by the Mayerton Group, has a capacity of 50,000 tpa magnesia-carbon refractory bricks. It...
