Imerys announces refractory acquisition in Q1 results

Post fall in revenue and income, but remains “committed to acquisitions policy”

Imerys announced in its Q1 2013 results that it has acquired Arefcon b.v., a Dutch company specialising in the installation of refractory products for the petrochemical industry.

The company produces refractory bricks, insulating fire bricks, refractory castables, insulating castables, ramming mixes, boards and fibre products.
