MagMin 2013: Nikochem eyes global CIS market for Mg(OH)2

Growth in transformative steel, rubber cited; fused magnesia plant on the cards

Russia’s Nikochem Corp. told delegates at MagMin 2013 in Oslo, Norway, this week that it will be doubling its production of magnesium chloride (MgCl2) to 60,000 tpa by November 2013.

The company, which also produces caustic soda (240,000 tpa), chlorine (220,000 tpa) PVC (100,000 tpa)...
