Rio Tinto records 25% increase in TiO2 production in Q2

Borates production up 13% q-o-q; feedstock shutdown brought forward

Rio Tinto posted a further increase in titanium dioxide (TiO2) feedstocks production in the second quarter of 2013, rising 25% in comparison to the same quarter of last year, it said in its operations review posted today.
