Company amenable to spin-off or sale; TiO2 business hampered by cyclicality

Leading titanium dioxide (TiO2) pigment producer DuPont will look at divesting its TiO2 business to become a “higher growth, less cyclical company”, it revealed today.

The divesture could take the form of full or partial separation through a spin-off, sale or other transaction.
