Rio Tinto Iron and Titanium head to join Tronox

CFO of Diamonds and Minerals division also departs for competitor

The managing director of Rio Tinto’s Iron and Titanium division, Jean-Francois Turgeon, has left to join competing titanium dioxide (TiO2) feedstock producer, and TiO2 pigment producer, Tronox Ltd.

Turgeon has been named executive vice president of the company and will take up his role on 1 January 2014.
