Country grants $68m to develop untapped resources; MoU signed

Kenya’s Mining Ministry has confirmed to IM that China has offered a grant of $68m to develop a geological survey of the mineral potential in Kenya.

China’s Geological Exploration Technology Institute president, Jia Xuetian, signed a memorandum of understanding for the project this week....
