New entrance standards set tone for widespread flake graphite consolidation; rules echo magnesia and fluorspar industries and could pave way for export quotas

Restrictions on China’s domestic graphite production are set to increase after the publication of a set of entry rules governing the production of flake graphite.

The list has been published by China Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and predominately accepts producers in Heilongjiang, China’s flake graphite production hub....
