BASF to increase kaolin prices by 7% globally

Low demand for graphic paper chemicals hits Q3 sales

German chemical producer BASF is to increase its kaolin prices globally for paper applications.

The price increases of up to 7% will vary depending on the product and will be effective immediately.

The company’s energy surcharge policy will remain the same with the threshold at $5/mmbtu, BASF added....
