Uralkali revenue drops 21% as market remains stagnant

Volumes stable but falling potash prices cause losses in sales revenue

Net revenue for leading potash producer Uralkali was down by 21% at $697m for the third quarter of 2013 due to the decline of potash prices and a stagnant market, the company reported today.

Sales revenue also dropped 19% to $697m, although production volumes remained unchanged year-on-year (y-o-y) at 2.7m...
