Preferred Sands ordered to pay $200,000 owing to stormwater violations

Company says plant is now compliant with stormwater and air permitting requirements

US-based proppants developer Preferred Sands has been ordered to pay $200,000 by the Wisconsin Department of Justice for stormwater violations at its frac sand mine located in the city of Blair.
