SRE Minerals discovers large deposit in North Korea; China exports record levels of permanent magnets
UK-based SRE Minerals Ltd and joint venture
(JV) partner Korea Resources Trading Corp.
have announced that North Korea could hold the worlds
largest rare earths deposit, at 216m tonnes.
The JV is looking to begin developing deposits in Jongju,
north-west of the countrys capital, Pyongyang, in April
