Industrial Minerals Data estimates global flake graphite production fell 10% in 2013 driven by Chinese cuts and a weak global steel refractory market

Global flake graphite output continued its fall in 2013 as end market consumption from the steel refractories industry continued to illustrate weak demand across the US, Japan and Europe.

Analysis by IM Data has pegged 2013 flake graphite production at 380,000 tonnes, down from 420,000 tonnes in 2012....
