Bureau of Land Management’s preliminary environmental assessment is open for public review

Bentonite company Wyo-Ben has submitted proposals to the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) to expand its mine on the Wyoming, US, border.

The company has requested to increase its mining permit area by 940 acres (3.8km2) on BLM-managed land, despite concerns raised last year that bentonite operations were being restricted...
