Europe’s steel production picks up; Asia sees mixed results
Despite optimism that the global steel industry will pick up
this year, world crude steel production dipped 0.4%
year-on-year (y-o-y) in January 2014 to around 129.8m tonnes,
according to the latest figures from the World Steel
Association (wordsteel).
