Valence Industries to invest in graphene research centre

After a recent report ranked Australia in 11th place in terms of graphene patent applications, the country is ramping efforts to lead in this industry. This week has seen two graphene R&D partnerships with the University of Adelaide which look set to increase activity.

Australia’s graphene industry is set to receive a significant boost after ASX-listed Valence Industries Ltd this week announced its intention to invest in a new research centre dedicated to the nano-material, which can be developed using natural graphite as a parent material.
