Ma’aden enters research partnership with KAUST

The KAUST Industry Collaboration Programme will give Ma’aden access to innovative research and technologies, and help to support the company’s operations in remote areas by addressing key industrial challenges such as sustainability. The partnership could also have direct applications in the development of Ma’aden’s Wa’ad Al Shammal phosphate project, which recently received a $2bn public investment fund.

Phosphate producer The Saudi Arabian Mining Company (Ma’aden) has joined the Industry Collaboration Programme at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) as a strategic partner.
