Geovic to explore its chromite sand deposits in Papua New Guinea

Following the discovery of elevated foundry-grade chromite content at its sand deposits in Papua New Guinea, the US-based company is likely to conduct explorations rapidly to develop a potentially strategic chromite sand project in Asia-Pacific.

US-based exploration company, Geovic Mining Corp., has discovered a chromite sand deposit in the Bitoi river delta in Papua New Guinea.
