Lower prices put further pressure on Western fluorspar producers

Margins slip as summer deals settle at lower levels; processing premium down

Excess supplies have put further pressure on acid-grade fluorspar (acidspar) prices into North America and Europe, with summer sales being settled at four-year lows.
CIF prices into Rotterdam, Holland and the US were revised down this week, with industry sources confirming lower offers, particularly from Chinese suppliers.
