Enquiries build as producers prepare summer contracts, while excess capacities suppress price rises

Suppliers have reported a slight upturn in enquiries for acid-grade fluorspar (acidspar) in recent weeks as consumers begin negotiations for summer contracts.

A number of buyers in Europe and Asia are planning to replenish inventories before the end of Q2 2014, which is expected to provide some relief to producers...
