DuPont revises outlook on poor performance chemicals, agriculture performance

Though the company saw its Q1 operating earnings fall owing to lower prices in performance chemicals, DuPont anticipated a demand resurgence in the second quarter. This now seems less likely as it has now revised its Q2 and full year 2014 guidance.

DuPont has revised its outlook for operating earnings for 2014 owing to lower than expected quarterly sales for its agriculture and performance chemicals segments.
