Flake prices edge higher as China extend environmental closures

The average price of lower value flake graphite grades into Europe crept up this week, as the effects of China’s consolidation programme continued to linger in the market.

Prices of finer mesh and lower purity grades followed the trend of higher value grades, increasing by up to $50/tonne....
