NYCO’s plans to expand its US wollastonite assets raise new concerns among locals

As the Adirondack Park Agency agrees to permit the land swap for Lot 8, new applications from the Willsboro-based producer to extend operations in two mines near the town of Lewis, New York, generate further concerns among local residents and could cause further troubles in NYCO’s expansion plans.

NYCO’s latest plans to expand its Oak Hill and Seventy Road wollastonite mines have been met with concerns from residents in the town of Lewis, New York State, US.
