NYCO’s wollastonite test mining in Lot 8 temporarily halted

: A restraining order from the Supreme Court, which suspends NYCO’s mining tests for wollastonite exploration in Adirondack, New York State, shows that the legal battle from local environmentalist groups is continuing and can cause delays to the company’s plans to expand its production.

The Albany County Supreme Court of Justice, New York, US, has stopped NYCO Minerals from starting its test mining for wollastonite in the 200-acre (0.4km2) area, also known as Lot 8 (near the town of Lewis, New York State).

NYCO had received approval by the Adirondack Park Agency (APA)...
