Prices stable as fears loom over new capacities

Acid-grade fluorspar (acidspar) prices remained unchanged this week with slow demand continuing to stunt any potential market recovery.

Buyers have reported little change in consumption levels due to the ongoing slump in fluorochemical markets, while producers have continued attempts to compete with low-cost supplies from China, in particular.
