Orocobre borax plant relocation complete on time, within budget

While moving the chemical plant from Campo Quijano to Tincalayu cost Orocobre more than $3.7m, it is expected to bring significant cost benefits through both the reduction of operating unit costs and increased mineral recovery.

ASX-listed Orocobre Ltd has announced that the relocation of Borax Argentina’s borax decahydrate chemical plant from Campo Quijano, close to Salta, Argentina, to the Tincalayu mine site is now complete.
