Outotec purchases Kalogeo to strengthen energy business

The increased focus by mining companies on the social and environmental impacts of operations is creating new opportunities for Outotec. However, the company has still had to decrease its full year guidance as order backlog remains low.

Finnish technology provider Outotec has acquired the assets of Austrian sustainable solutions company, Kalogeo Anglagenbau GmbH, after it became insolvent.
