Tesla Motors signs lithium-ion Gigafactory cooperation agreement with Panasonic Corp

Panasonic already develops Tesla’s EV batteries and the continuation of this arrangement shows that Tesla is committed to retaining the quality in its cars. It also puts paid to reports that Panasonic considered the investment too “risky”.

Japan’s Panasonic Corp. and US electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer Tesla Motors today signed a cooperation agreement for the building of Tesla’s so-called Gigafactory in the US.
