ICL reports sharp profit decline owing to low fertiliser selling prices

The company’s fertiliser division, which represents over 50% of revenues, performed poorly as low prices and low phosphate volumes, owing to strikes and weak demand, impacted profits.

Fertiliser producer Israel Chemicals Ltd (ICL) has reported a sharp decline in net profit as its Q2 results were hit by lower potash and phosphate selling prices.
