GMDC increases profits from bauxite, fluorspar and solar power in India

By recording a profit increase in the quarter ending June 2014, the Indian mineral and solar power producer reinforces its leading position as mineral supplier for domestic chemical and refractory industries, a fact that suggests a steady economic growth in the country.

Indian minerals and solar power producer, Gujarat Mineral Development Corp. (GMDC) has increased its profits in the three months ending in June 2014.

Net profit after tax amounted to Indian rupee (INR) 13m ($208,000*), up 10% compared with the same period in 2013.
