Lanxess expands Asian presence with additional iron oxide plant

The German chemical maker, which is building an iron oxide pigment plant in Ningbo, China, has added a mixing and milling plant to its plans to meet the high level of demand for the pigments in Asia. Together with its existing facility in Shanghai, Lanxess will be able to supply the coatings, plastics, construction and paper industries.

German chemical maker Lanxess has added a mixing and milling plant to its already under-construction pigment plant in Ningbo, China, in response to high levels of demand for iron oxide pigments.
