Hunan Nonferrous Metal produces fluorspar from polymetallic tailings in China

The company has developed an ore dressing method to separate and recover scheelite and fluorite through a two stage process. Using this process, which eliminates the shortcomings of a preferential flotation process, at a new processing plant starting in August, the China Minmetals subsidiary can produce high-grade and low-grade fluorspar.
