MbAC commercial SSP production weeks away as activity at Itafos ramps up

Canada-based MbAC is increasing production volumes of SSP and sulphuric acid at its Itafos plant in Brazil and says that commercial scale output will be achieved within weeks. The focus on higher value SSP and the company’s strategic location in Brazil, position it as an ideal supplier in a growing market.

Brazil-operating, Canada-based MbAC Fertilizer Corp. has been ramping up fertiliser production at its central-Brazilian Itafos plant following movements to ease its working capital constraints.

The company says that it will be capable of full commercial production of 300,000 tpa single super phosphate (SSP) within weeks.
