Molycorp starts up expanded leach system at its rare earth US plant

Now that the US rare earth producer completed the expansion of the leach system, it will be able to solve a major bottleneck at the facility and increase production to reach its target capacity, a strict condition to access additional funding agreed with investors.

US-based Molycorp Inc. has completed the expansion of the leach system at its rare earth processing plant in Mountain Pass, California.
