Huntsman purchase of Rockwood TiO2 business gets final go-ahead

The deal, which initially raised antitrust concerns, has now been given final approval from the European Commission. The $4bn purchase will make Huntsman the second largest TiO2 producer globally.

Huntsman Corp. has received final clearance and approval from the European Commission to acquire the Performance Additives and titanium dioxide (TiO2) business of Rockwood Holdings Inc.
