I-Minerals quartz by-product tested successfully for use in glass

The positive results from the tests means that not only will the company be able to glean revenue from its kaolin and halloysite offerings, it will also, potentially, be able to sell its quartz tailings product to glass manufacturers.

I-Minerals has proven, through a series of tests undertaken by an unnamed international glass manufacturer, that several of its quartz products are comparable to low iron sand used in the production of rolled, float and solar glass.
