South Boulder completes preliminary process design for Eritrea SOP production

SOP metallurgical tests have yielded positive results for South Boulder, which seeks to begin production at its low-capex, low-opex, open pit Eritrean potash project. Its low costs and high value end product could see significant profitability for the company, in a usually difficult potash market.

ASX-listed South Boulder Mines Ltd. has completed a series of metallurgical tests, carried out in order to maximise the yield of sulphate of potash (SOP) at its Colluli project of Eritrea, east Africa, and to complete its prefeasibility study.
