UPDATE: MTI denies Minteq Suzhou plant closure rumours

The company has flatly contradicted reports that it plans to shut down its refractories manufacturing facility in China, saying that it intends to continue developing its business in the region despite tough market conditions.

Minerals Technologies Inc., the parent company of refractories manufacturer Minteq International, has strongly denied rumours that it plans to close the company’s manufacturing facility in Suzhou, eastern China.
