Minerals Technologies sees AMCOL effect as sales, income, shoot up

This is the first quarter which shows the impact the AMCOL acquisition has had on MTI’s bottom line. Business is pushing on, in what has been a depressed market for its competitors, indicating that the acquisition is already paying off.

Minerals Technologies Inc. (MTI) pointed to the positive impact its acquisition of AMCOL has had on its Q3 2014 results, with a year-on-year increase of 114% in net sales and a 135% increase in income from operations.
