TiZir ramps up production following August mechanical failures

With the potential to provide 7% of the world’s TiO2 and zircon feedstock, joint venture partners Eramet and Mineral Deposits will welcome the resumption of production at the Grande Cote project in Senegal, following the redesign of impellers.

TiZir Ltd, the Senegal-based joint venture (JV) mineral sands miner, has been ramping up production volumes at its Grand Cote mineral sands project in Senegal, West Africa, following the redesign of a specific mechanical component that had broken several times.
