Martin Marietta Materials post higher Q3 sales in magnesia business

A rise in sales in the company’s specialty products business demonstrate that demand continues to grow for the company’s magnesium hydroxide products, although it indicated that its bottom line was affected by higher natural gas prices — which has impacted operations in industrial minerals on a global scale — and a kiln outage.
