DSF Refractories to construct natural gas pipeline at UK plant

The approval of a £2.8m project to construct a natural gas pipeline at its refractory plant would allow the UK-based refractories manufacturer to lower costs and remain competitive in the refractory market worldwide.

UK-based DSF Refractories and Minerals Ltd is planning to install 12.3km of natural gas pipeline in Newhaven, East Sussex.

The pipeline will be installed in the verge adjacent to the A515 from Brielow Bar to Newhaven, then alongside the A5012 to Friden. Once completed, the pipeline will be legally...
