PotashCorp. Piccadilly mine set to open; K+S signs $200m services contract with Aecon; Elemental Minerals halves capex in new mine plan.

Canada-based PotashCorp.’s Piccadilly potash mine is set to open, seven years after its construction was first announced.

Dump trucks began taking overburden out of the mine from 22 October. The potash will be intersected for production on 24 October, officials told CBC News.
